Director at Represent Me
Jess Zammit is a games journalist, teacher, researcher and diversity advocate with a background in cognitive psychology. She has been writing about and conducting research on diversity in games for years through her journalism, and in her role as one of the directors of not-for-profit organisation Represent Me. She aims to make every space she enters more diverse, and through Represent Me has helped to organise events, speak on panels, do consultancy work and conduct research that aims to support and highlight individuals from marginalised groups. In 2020 she co-authored Cooperative Gaming: Diversity in the Games Industry and How to Cultivate Inclusion alongside Dr. Alayna Cole, and is currently working as a User Experience Researcher for Australian-based games company Mighty Kingdom.
